FROM VINE TO TABLE

The Vineyard

Our Story

Angelina Vineyards is a modest family-run winery located at the apex of the Long Island wine growing region. Named after the Matriarch of the family, Angelina Vineyards was created to fulfill a dream of having a personal vineyard to enjoy and has budded into a lasting and worthwhile endeavor 15 years later, specializing in Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc vintages.

Tony Salvaggio planted the first grapevines in 2008. The first harvest took place five years later in 2013 and every year since we seek to produce a better varietal than the year prior. Every aspect of maintaining the vineyard and ensuring its health and success is done here on the premises.

Every year we are faced with different terroir challenges (from rain to pests) and creatively adjust how we take care of the vines in order to maximize varietal ripeness and to bring out the best characteristics of the grapes. This even includes how we age and store the wine: no two vintages are alike!
